Archbishop refusing to have Father Katinas Defrocked

The website Orthodox Reform reports that Archbishop Demetrios of America is so far refusing to send Rev. Nicholas Katinas, former pastor of Holy Trinity Church in Dallas, to Spiritual Court for defrocking, effectively keeping him on suspended status indefinitely. Given what has been revealed about this case their is an evident double standard. If this had been Bishop Grahmann or Cardinal Mahony doing this people like Mr. Dreher et. al would be having major hissy fits and it would be played as another example of how out of touch and inept those Catholic bishops are. Yet barely a word is spoken about it in the MSM. Some people wonder why Catholics like me see bias in the MSM. It is about sutle as a being beat over the head with the bible. What are your thoughts? Here's my take. The Catholic church has great assets, not as much as reputed, IMHO, but nonetheless deeper pockets than other churches. This brings the out the litigators from under the rocks and rotted logs they live in. Take away the cash aspect and the bottom-feeder lawyers simply aren't lining up for the slim pickins of the OCA. Because the rainmakers are nowhere, the story is DOA to the MSM.
