Archbishop of Canterbury

http://http//www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23436203-details/Church+backlash+as+Archbishop+of+Canterbury+calls+for+Sharia+law+in+Britain/article.do

In a move that must have his illustrious predecessors St. Thomas a' Becket and Thomas Cranmer doing 360s in their graves the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Rowan Williams proposed that the UK adopt some aspects of Muslim sharia law in the UK. This has drawn criticism from a wide array of papers including The London Times, and The Telegraph. It has also been criticized by various political leaders like Prime Minister Gordon Brown; not to mention members of the Anglican Synod. They also called for him to resign. Considering what Thomas a'Becket and Thomas Cranmer did as Archbishops of Canterbury, namely dying for their faiths; this seems the only course. What do you think?
